PAYMENTS & BOOKINGS

To book an apartment, send us your required dates using our Contact Form. We shall confirm your booking upon receipt of your deposit of 50%. The final payment must be paid in full 6 weeks before arrival. If booking an apartment with 6 weeks notice or less, we ask for the full amount as booking. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please ensure your payment reaches us by the due date. Our system will cancel your booking if payment is not received by then. This will be classed as a cancellation on your behalf and no refunds or compensation given.

VISITOR ACCOMMODATION LIMITATIONS

Occupation must be limited to the maximum number of persons that the accommodation states. If this is exceeded we will read this as a cancellation by you and we will make you leave the accommodation. You will not be entitled to any refund or compensation.

YOUR OBLIGATIONS & BREAKAGES

You undertake to keep the accommodation and all furniture, fixings and other effects in the same state of repair and condition as at the commencement of the booking, and shall pay us the value which is damaged or destroyed. Breakages and damage must be reported as soon as possible. Additional cleaning charges will be made if the accommodation is not left to be in the same order as it was at the start of the holiday. You must allow us into the property to inspect its state with reasonable notice or, immediately in the case of an emergency.

You must not use the accommodation for any dangerous, offensive, noisy, illegal or immoral activities or cause a nuisance or annoyance to other guests, local residents or our staff. If you break these conditions, we reserve the right to make you leave the property before the end of your holiday. If this happens then this will be treated as a cancellation by you and no refund or compensation will be made. Smoking is not permitted in any part of the accommodation.

SPECIAL REQUESTS:

If you have special requests or needs you are responsible for telling us at the time of your booking. We cannot guarantee that any special requests can be met, although we will try to accommodate these. It is your responsibility to satisfy yourself that the accommodation is suitable for your needs at the time of booking. Once confirmation is made you must check it thoroughly. If a particular requirement is not on that confirmation it cannot be provided for.

CANCELLATIONS BY US:

Rural Apartments Alpujarras may not accept the conclusion of an Accommodation Contract under any of the following cases and we have the rights to cancel accommodation contracts when

  • 1.When the application for accommodation does not conform with the provisions of these Terms and Conditions;
  • 2.When the apartments are fully booked and no room is available;
  • 3.When the Guest seeking accommodation is deemed liable to conduct himself in a manner that will contravene the laws or act against the public order or good morals in regard to the Guest's accommodation;
  • 4.When the Guest seeking accommodation can be clearly detected as carrying an infectious disease;
  • 5.When the apartments are requested to assume an unreasonable burden in regard to the Guest's accommodation;
  • 6.When rural apartments alpujarras is unable to provide accommodation due to natural calamities, disfunction of the facilities and/or other unavoidable causes; or
  • 7.When a person requesting accommodations is obviously intoxicated and could cause annoyance to other guests or when a person is behaving in such a manner as to be an annoyance to other guests.
  • 8.When the Guest seeking accommodation can be detected as a member of or be linked to a crime syndicate, organized crime groups or any antisocial organizations.
  • 9.When the Guest does not observe prohibited actions such as smoking in bed and mischief to the facilities and other prohibitions of the Use Regulations stipulated by the apartments.

CANCELLATIONS BY YOU:

Should you cancel your booking with us, the following scale of cancellation charges will apply:
· cancellation more than 6 weeks before departure - loss of deposit.
· cancellation 14 days to 6 weeks before departure - 70% of total cost.
· cancellation less than 14 days before departure - 100% of total cost.
Such terms are adopted in a similar form throughout the travel industry and cover the costs of advance payments made by us in respect of the business. Cancellation charges may be covered by your travel insurance provided the reason for cancellation falls within the terms of your policy. Cancellation must be advised in writing and will be effective from the date of receipt by us. The Business will not be liable to you in any way for the consequences of strikes, industrial action, wars, riots, sickness, quarantine, government intervention, weather conditions, or other untoward occurrences.

Any air travel that forms part of any trip is subject to the terms and conditions stipulated by the airline concerned and liability is limited in accordance with the relevant International Convention. These conditions, the terms set out and any agreement made between you and the Business shall be subject to, and governed by, English law. In making your booking, you agree and accept that you have read and understood all these conditions and agree to abide by them.

FURTHER NOTES & ACTIVITIES

We cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to any belongings, or for any injury sustained by you or your party during your stay in the accommodation. We STRONGLY RECOMMEND you take out adequate insurance when traveling and taking up activities in Las Alpujarras and the Sierra Nevada. The Business will not be liable for any illness, injury or death sustained by you during a trip or activity whilst staying with us, nor will it be liable for any uninsured losses of your property or where such illness, injury, death or losses arise as a result of our negligence.
